		INFO ON REGULARLY HELD AUDITIONS THIS SEASON WE HAVE A NEW AND IMPROVED AUDITION PROCESS! WE WILL BE HOLDING OPEN HOUSE DANCE PRACTICES WHERE YOU CAN DROP IN AND/OR BRING A FRIEND (see date below)! WHEN YOU ARRIVE YOU WILL BE ASKED TO FILL OUT A QUESTIONAIRRE AND PARTICIPATE IN SOME OF OUR WARM UP DANCES (ie- basic line dances) FROM THERE WE MAY CALL YOU BACK TO MORE PRACTICES TO DECIDE WHETHER YOU WILL BE A GOOD FIT FOR THE TEAM THIS NEW AND IMPROVED PROCESS IS VERY CASUAL AND COMFORTABLE AND GIVES YOU A REAL FEEL FOR OUR TEAM SO YOU CAN DECIDE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN TAKING PART ANYONE CAN TRY OUT AS LONG AS YOU ARE 19 YEAR OF AGE OR OLDER! 			FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.... Q- What are you looking for in a new recruit? A- a great attitude, someone who picks up dances well, and someone who is reliable and a team player Q- What should I wear to the open house? A- Anything comfortable or Country Apparel Q- If I do get a call back, what happens next? A- Everyone goes through a probabtion period where we can really see how fast you pick up our routines and whether you are a good fit for the team (normally 3 months). At this point we go over specifics in what is expected of you in joining the team. Q- When are your practices? A-  Practices every Tuesday evening 7:30 - 9pm. New recruits also have extra practices on Sunday afternoons until they learn our routines (normally 3-6 months) Q- What is involved with being a Gabby's Girl? A- LOTS OF FUN! Practices, performances, meeting new friends, promoting Gabby's Cabaret, and having free dance lessons... along with lots of perks from local events and sponsors Q- How long is the commitment? A- (New) We ask that you commit to one full year from your first performance date. Q- When do you normally perform? A- It varies throughout the year. We give you lots of advance notice so that you can arrange your schedule. We usually have 1-3 Out of town weekend trips throughout the year. Our road trips are the best!!
